Founded by Asiyah Adekunle, an immigrant mom of two boys and passionate entrepreneur, Sleepy Jammies was created to bring beautiful, comfortable sleepwear to families while building something meaningful along the way.

Our Story

Sleepy Jammies was born from a personal journey.

Before moving to Canada, Asiyah ran a successful pajama business in Nigeria, Asiyah Stores.

After relocating, she searched for the same quality and comfort she'd always loved-beautiful, unique, and affordable pajamas for her family. The idea for Sleepy Jammies came to her after she heard this exact wish from others in her community and circle. Many were looking for pajamas that combined comfort, quality, style and affordability.

Sleepy Jammies is a story of starting over, believing in a dream, and building something meaningful in a new country. It represents resilience, determination, and the belief that our dreams travel with us. It's the feeling of coming home, of being comfortable in your own space, of gathering with the people you love.

Today, we're proudly building our roots in Canada, with a vision of growing into a homegrown Canadian brand and eventually establishing local manufacturing and opportunities right here at home.
